About this class.
We are delighted to have Elisabeth Brooke lead a 4 part series which will be an exploration of the four seasons of the Traditional Astrological and the Pagan
year.
The 4 part series ends with the Choleric Season.
The Choleric Season is linked with the element of fire, the hot and dry qualities, and the vibrant energy of summer. In traditional humoral theory, choler—or yellow bile—was believed to be responsible for irritability, inflammation, fevers, and digestive issues, with the liver considered the organ from which this bile originated.
The term choleric comes from the Greek word for “bile,” reflecting a fiery disposition that was both dynamic and potentially volatile. This season brings its own set of challenges, often characterized by intensity and restlessness, but it also offers vitality, clarity, and decisive action.
Elisabeth will guide you through these dual aspects—examining both the fiery passions and the rejuvenating power of the choleric temperament.
With the Sun and Mars—planets of action and willpower—playing a significant role, Elisabeth will also weave astrology into her presentation, helping you understand the celestial influences of the Choleric Season.
She'll explore the herbs associated with this season, known for their cooling and balancing properties, along with traditional rituals and celebrations that mark the height of summer.
Elisabeth will share her favorite seasonal recipes, offering inspiration to align your diet with the qualities of the season. Whether you're seeking to balance a choleric temperament or simply wish to attune more closely to nature’s rhythms,
This promises to be another fascinating talk from Elisabeth, educating you across a wide range of topics within the Choleric Season.
The series can be bought as a package or you can buy the individual seasonal talks.
