What to expect
Incorporate the elements into your healing practices
Every continent has its own version of natural medicine. There are, of course, differences that depend on country, region, language group, religion, cultural conservation, and much more.
In this masterclass we will focus instead on the commonalities and general trends in the traditional medicine approach of the different continents.

Connecting the dots between the cultures
Using the Medicine Wheel As A Guide
To organise ourselves in this exploration, we will use a medicine wheel structure, with each of the four elements represented within a circle.
Starting with an Indigenous Mexican medicine wheel, we will observe the commonalities and variations in natural medicine from Traditional African Medicine, Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ancient Greek Medicine and the natural and folk medicine of Europe up until today.

All cultures and traditions across the world incorporate the elements into their rituals, stories and healing practices.
This is a universal truth that we may have forgotten but is still as relevant today as it was to our ancestors.
After studying with folk medicine practitioners, ethnobotanists and drawing from her own cultural heritage, herbalist Rachel Thomas has reconnected with the tradition of working with the four elements.
She is now sharing with us her experiences and learnings so that we can reconnect with this foundational approach of understanding of the world.
If you would like to incorporate the elements in your healing practices and draw upon the ancestral wisdom of the past then do not miss out on this very special workshop.
