year.
The 4 part series starts with the Melancholic Season.

The Melancholic Season is associated with the earth element, cold and dry qualities, and the autumn
season.
Melancholy
was thought to cause depression, aches and pains, delirium, cancer, and
problems with the spleen, which was thought to secrete black bile. Melancholia comes
from the Greek meaning ‘black bile’.
It is interesting etymology like this, the challenges of what could be viewed as a depressing season, but also the benefits, which Elisabeth will be looking at with you. The planets of melancholy Saturn and Mercury are an important part of the season, and as an astrologer, Elisabeth will be incorporating astrology into her talk.

About Elisabeth Brooke
Elisabeth Brooke qualified as a Medical Herbalist with the National Institute of Medical Herbalists in 1980 and as a counsellor at the Psychosynthesis and Education Trust in 1989. She has an online private practice in both disciplines and teaches and lectures worldwide. Elisabeth also has a degree in Classical Studies and was a tutor at the Company of Astrologers London.
