Microdosing for Health, Healing, and Enhanced Performance

Join James Fadiman and Jordan Gruber for a talk based on the first comprehensive book on microdosing, using new research and extensive reports from individuals to describe the expansive possibilities of the practice.
This session offers a balanced and insightful introduction to microdosing as an emerging practice at the intersection of psychology, neuroscience, and human performance.

Drawing from the work undertaken for their book; one of the most comprehensive materials on the subject, James and Jordan will explore how very small, intentional doses can influence the body and mind—often in subtle but meaningful ways.

You’ll gain a clearer understanding of how microdosing is being used today, what people are experiencing, and how to employ it to enhance performance.

Microdosing for Health, Healing, and Enhanced Performance

Drawing from their extensive work, James and Jordan will guide you through the evolving landscape of microdosing—what it is, how it’s being used, and why it’s generating so much interest worldwide.

Their approach combines scientific research with lived experience, offering a broader and more human perspective on the practice.

People have reported using microdosing as a powerful tool to support a broad range of mental, physical, and emotional well-being goals. Many describe relief from symptoms of depression, ADHD, chronic pain, and even long COVID, along with noticeable improvements in focus, mental clarity, and physical performance, including sports.

Others have found it helpful when tapering off pharmaceuticals, particularly antidepressants and stimulants, while also developing healthier habits around food, sleep, and relationships.

Beyond these practical benefits, microdosing is often credited with increasing self-awareness, emotional sensitivity toward others, and a deeper connection to the natural world, all while reducing stress and anxiety.

James and Jordan will address all of this and more including :
  • What microdosing is—and what it isn’t.
  • The history and development of modern microdosing.
  • What current research and user reports are revealing.
  • Microdosing in relation to mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.
  • Its role in habit change, resilience, and self-awareness.
  • The importance of context, intention, and responsible use.
